Sondor starts from the other end. It asks you questions, the way a good interviewer or a patient friend would, and it treats your answers as the only material worth using. A session has three parts. You do the talking in the first one.

Sondor asks
You pick a topic, or let Sondor pick one from the map of what you have already said you care about. Then it interviews you. Follow-up questions, pushback where your answer was vague, a request for the story behind a claim. You talk or type. Most people talk.

Your words are kept
The transcript is the raw material and it stays yours, word for word, in your own Notion workspace. Sondor also learns from it: your phrasing, your recurring ideas, the way you open and close a thought. That profile gets sharper with every session.

A piece is assembled
Sondor arranges what you said into a finished piece. Nothing in it is generated. If two of your thoughts need a connecting phrase you never said, that phrase is marked as an addition and you are asked before it stays. Publish it, or run the same words through a different format later.

I knew I wanted to write longer-form content. I knew it was a way to express more complex and deep ideas in a format my normal punchy one-liners just couldn't tap into, but I struggled to find the time to carve out a real sit-down-and-write session.

Write from a prompt
There is no box where you type a topic and receive a draft. If you did not say it, it does not go in unmarked.
Invent an opinion
When your answer left a gap, Sondor asks you another question. It never fills the gap with a position you did not take.
Hide its additions
The few places where it may add a word or two, a seam between two thoughts for instance, are marked, and you approve each one.
Train on your work
Your transcripts and pieces are not used to train models. They are yours, and they stay in your Notion.
Who this is for
Writers and creators who publish under their own name and want it to stay recognisably theirs. People who have more ideas than sitting-down time. It is a poor fit if you want thirty posts from one sentence. Sondor will ask you thirty questions instead, and the piece at the end will take you longer than a paste. That is the trade, and it is the whole point.

Fair questions
Why pay for this when ChatGPT is free?
Because they do different jobs. A chatbot writes text for you, and readers can increasingly tell. Sondor gets text out of you, keeps it intact, and organises it. If you want something written on your behalf, a chatbot is cheaper and faster. If you want to publish more of your own thinking without spending your evenings typing it, that is what this is for.
Is it really my writing, or is AI doing it underneath?
AI runs the interview and does the arranging. It does not write the sentences. The finished piece is made of your transcript, and the handful of places where a connecting phrase had to be added are marked and shown to you before they stay. You can open the provenance link on any piece and see exactly which words are yours. It is all of them, plus whatever you approved.
Where does my content live? Who can see it?
In your own Notion workspace, under your own Notion account. Sondor holds your login, an encrypted connection to your Notion, and billing records. It does not hold your transcripts or your pieces, and it does not use them to train anything. If you cancel, or if Sondor disappeared tomorrow, your content would still be sitting in your Notion. The privacy policy spells this out.
Why is there no free tier?
The value shows up after a few real sessions, and each session costs real money to run. A 14-day trial with the full Premium tools lets you find out whether it works for you without a card on file. A permanent free plan would mean building a worse product for the people who pay.
What happens when the trial ends?
The app locks to an upgrade screen until you subscribe. Nothing is deleted and nothing is taken from you. Every transcript, profile and piece from the trial is in your Notion and stays there whether or not you continue. Full details are in the trial terms.
Do I have to be good at talking?
No. You have to be willing to answer questions. Rambling answers work well, because Sondor asks follow-ups and pulls the sharp parts out of the ramble. Typed answers work too. The only thing that does not work is having nothing to say about the topic, and Sondor will tell you when that is what is happening rather than fill it in.
